  • Engineer and draft scenic pieces according to design specifications. Work with scenic designers to complete and finesse scenic concept. Ensure peices can be trucked.
  • Work with outside shops to fabricate shopped out units and develop automation and staging rental packages.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, arts partners, and creative teams to arrange logistics and ensure scenic peices meet production values and needs.
  • Budget, schedule, and administrate the scenery department, manage a shop of full time artists and carpenters.
  • Maintain a safe and equitable working environment, including the development and implementation of a COVID-19 response plan for the shop building and staff.
  • Directly supervise and lead crew in load in, strike, truck pack and special projects.
